The Expert VM 8×40 Marine is designed for use at sea and in everyday fieldwork where the optics must withstand water, moisture and shock. Suitable for hunters, fishermen, ornithologists and environmental professionals.

Optics

The 8× magnification and 40 mm lens offer good light transmission and a stable image when hand-held. Field of view at 126 m / 1000 m. TRUE COLOR™ multi-layer coatings and polarising anti-reflection filters improve image contrast in the presence of glare from the water surface.

Waterproof housing

Hermetically sealed fibreglass-reinforced plastic housing complies with IPX7 to protection class - can withstand submersion in water to a depth of 1 m for up to 30 minutes. Nitrogen-filled optical system prevents fogging.

Features

Built-in, easily switchable light filters improve image quality depending on environmental conditions. Adjustable eyepieces and lens caps attached to the body.
