Multifunctional clip-on thermo module

The Pulsar Core FXQ55 BW is a uniquely designed clip-on thermal module that can be used as a stand-alone thermal imaging device or as a mount in front of a daypack, camera or binocular. With a separately available DN adapter, the unit attaches to the eyepiece of a daypack, turning it into a fully-fledged thermal scope - without changing the shooting profile.

Use in front of a diary

The Core FXQ55 BW is suitable, with DN adaptor, for daily disposable binoculars with an eyepiece diameter in the range of 40-56 mm. The DN adapter must be ordered separately according to the sight. When fixed, the original zeroing of the transversal quadrant is maintained.

Use independently

With the included imaging head, the Core FXQ55 BW can be used as a fully self-contained thermal monocular - ideal for scanning territory before a shot.

Scanning range 1800 m

384 × 288 @ 17 µm sensor and 50 mm F/1.2 lens allow detection of a human-sized thermal object up to 1800 metres from a distance - enough to observe the open landscape.

Weatherproof

The body complies with IPX7 standard (IEC 60529) - the device works even after being submerged in water up to 1 metre deep for up to 30 minutes. Suitable for use in rain, snow and fog.

The kit includes a Core FXQ55 BW thermal module, a viewfinder, a pouch, a power adapter, a USB cable, a wrist strap, a console, a user manual, a lens cleaning cloth and a warranty card.

Legislation

NOTE: Civilian use of the thermosheath is not allowed in all countries. In Estonia, civilian use of the Core FXQ55 BW is permitted (RelvS § 20¹ (5)), but the associated restrictions must be taken into account.
