Premium thermal performance
1024 × 768 @ 12 µm thermal sensor NETD < 40 mK (sNETD < 20 mK) provides a sharp and contrasting thermal image. The 50 mm F/1.0 germanium lens captures maximum thermal signal - ideal for long exposures.
Detection range up to 2300 m
Combination of HD sensor and large objective lens enables animal detection up to 2300 m away. The Lumion XL50 is an excellent choice for open field scanning and observation from elevated viewing positions.
Wide magnification range 2.5-20×
The basic magnification of 2.5× expands to 20× with a smooth digital zoom. You can first scan a wide area at low magnification and then zoom in to lock on to the target.
All-weather resistant housing
Plastic body reinforced with a rubber shield IPX7 with a degree of protection. Operating temperature -25 °C to +40 °C. Built-in 1/4″ tripod mount allows the use of a tripod stand for long observations.
