Pulsar Telos LRF XG50 thermal monocular
The Telos LRF XG50 is the version of the XG50 with a laser rangefinder. The same 640×480 sensor with 12 µm pixels and the 50 mm lens give a base magnification of 3.5× and a detection range of 2300 m. In addition, the device shows the exact distance up to 1000 metres at the press of a button. If you hunt on large fields and need to judge whether an animal is 300 or 450 metres away, it saves a lot of guesswork.
Laser rangefinder and ballistics
The rangefinder is accurate to ±1 m. The laser is Class 1 (905 nm) and eye-safe. The device has a ballistic calculator, and you load its data from the Stream Vision Ballistics app.
Image and magnification
Magnification is 3.5–14×, up to 28× in Zoom Boost mode. The image stabiliser keeps the picture steady at high magnification. The field of view is 15.4 m at 100 m, narrower than on the XP and XL models, but distant animals appear larger as a result.
Display, recording and app
1024×768 AMOLED display, 64 GB of internal memory, video with sound and picture-in-picture mode. The device connects via Wi-Fi to the Stream Vision 2 app, where you can view the image on your phone, download recordings and update the firmware.
Battery and weather
The LPS 7i battery lasts up to 8.5 hours; frequent use of the rangefinder and Wi-Fi shortens this. Charging is via USB-C cable or wireless. The housing is waterproof to IPX7, operating temperature is –25 to +40 °C, and weight with battery is 720 g.
Comparison with other Telos models
Without the rangefinder, the Telos XG50 is more affordable. If you often observe in damp and foggy conditions, choose the Telos LRF XP50, which has a more sensitive sensor. The most detailed image in the series and a Full HD display come with the Telos LRF XT50 model.

Frequently asked questions
How accurate is the rangefinder? According to the manufacturer, ±1 m up to 1000 metres. With a small or poorly reflective target, the measuring range is shorter.
Does the rangefinder work in the dark? Yes. The laser does not need light: point the mark in the centre of the display at the animal and press the button.
What does a detection range of 2300 m mean? It is the distance at which the device shows a deer-sized animal as a heat spot. To identify the species, the animal needs to be several times closer.
Can the Telos be mounted on a rifle? No. The Telos is a handheld observation device.
