High-resolution HD sensor

The Pulsar Lumion XL50 is a thermal monocular with an HD sensor that offers top-level image quality and flexible upgradability for years to come. The device is designed specifically for nature observers, birdwatchers, bird ringers and researchers who need precision and durability in all conditions.

The HD sensor and large-aperture lens make it possible to detect animals at up to 2300m.

Pulsar Image Boost image enhancement

The proprietary Image Boost enhancement, based on image processing algorithms, gives the Lumion image top-level detail, clarity and contrast. Manual image adjustment functions help adapt the camera to changing weather conditions, improving the quality of animal and bird observation. Image brightness and contrast controls make prolonged observation comfortable and easy.

Suitable for both left- and right-handed users

The symmetrical design of the Lumion allows it to be used equally comfortably with either hand. The buttons are arranged in a single row on the top panel, and the consecutive lens rings for focusing and changing magnification are accessible from both sides.

Built for harsh Nordic conditions

The Pulsar Lumion thermal imaging camera is designed for use in demanding outdoor conditions, at temperatures from –25 to +40 °C. The device is fully waterproof. The thermal monocular has no protruding parts, and its composite polymer-coated housing makes it strong and durable.

Ergonomic carrying bag

The Pulsar Lumion XL50 comes with a comfortable, user-friendly carrying case. It spreads the weight of the device evenly across the body, easing the load on the shoulders, back and neck. The case has straps for attaching it to a belt or to kit with a MOLLE system (such as backpacks and harnesses).
